Let's venture out.. out of our comfort zones! That's what I did with this outfit, and I'm so glad I did! I like my shirts longer in the front and back. I have always been the girl to try and "hide her tummy"... or would gravitate toward plain tops. By starting this blog, I decided I can't be afraid to try new styles and colors! I was shopping the other day, and said I'm going to keep my word to myself and start branching out! I ventured out of my comfort zone and got this top for forever 21! It's way shorter than I'm used to, but I did it! Baby steps, my friends!!

I work part-time at a mall. I was walking around and decided to go into Forever 21. I've been finding some great deals there, so I decided to stop in again. I was so happy to find out that the sale was all buy one get one FREE.  I picked up a dress and the top below. I got the top for FREE. Who doesn't love free?! 


The pants I'm wearing are Old Navy Pixie pants. The cutest work pants, ever. I love these for school and Old Navy has them in so many different colors/patterns, it's awesome! The Pixie's rarely go on sale, and when they do I MAKE SURE to grab a pair or two! (Don't put these bad boys in the dryer though!) After my Forever 21 adventure, I went into Old Navy. I saw the sale, always wanted navy pants, and got them! Hooray! I got these for $25! Not bad for pants I will be wearing all the time at BOTH my jobs!  They're a great length too! They don't drag on the floor! Old Navy is great. If you can't find it in the store, online will have it.



Spring calls for cute wedges! My shoes are from TARGET. Yes, target. You can get GREAT shoes from there at anytime of the year! These are a classic style and are always available! If not from target, you can find a similar pair just about anywhere!

My accessories are my OLD RELIABLES. My earrings are big and glitzy, which I love! I got them from a Kate Spade OUTLET, which I paid $11 for! Yes, you read correct. $11 for Kate Spade earrings! I regret not buying more! 
My necklace is Vera Bradley! It's part of their new summer jewelry collection. It also comes in silver! It's so classy and will add to any outfit!! 
My watch is also Kate Spade. It's simple and pretty. I love wearing a watch. I feel naked without one! I got this through bloomingdales for less than $100. I had a coupon or TWO, haha!

I really love this outfit and I am proud of myself for venturing out and buying this shirt! (well, not technically buying.. haha) It's great to have the nice weather here again, and I love adding more color to my wardrobe! 

Try a style you wouldn't normally try! 
You may be surprised at how amazing you look! 
(even though you're always amazing)
