I want to apologize for being SO MIA! The end of the school year has 100% gotten the best of me! BUT I'm back and ready to goooooo <3

I'm a huge huge huge fan of FRANCESCA'S. It's definitely one, if not my favorite store... ever! They're having a great sale going on and I realized how much their graphic tee's represent my everyday struggle, haha. There is a different t-shirt to represent how I'm feeling each day! Especially now that it's coming to the end of the year at school!

I'm not sure who is more excited for summer... Me or the students... yeah, it's me...

ANYWAYS! I've compiled a list of graphic t-shirts to represent my daily struggle. It's pretty awesome. If you don't have these t-shirts, you NEED THEM!

MONDAY: the struggle is REAL. 100% REAL. 


TUESDAY: I don't know about you, but my boyfriend ALWAYS do taco's on tuesdays! (or when I'm not working we do). TACO TACO TACOOOOO (beat to macho man, haha)
 

WEDNESDAY: Oh hump day... I feel like I'm everywhere and nowhere at the same time. So close to the weekend by so far away...  I know I'm at school, teaching, but I'm not really sure sometimes haha


THURSDAY: Uh, weekend? At least I look pretty...

HI ALL! So I found some interesting information and realized I do it all the time! Whenever I get ready in the morning, I try to have at least THREE different colors/shades on. That also includes patterns. Most of my outfits have a three color trend going on. It's weird to think because I'm weird and an even number person, but I do it all the time. I've also realized it TOTALLY WORKS! It really pulls an outfit together and no color is "too much". So here is my thoughts on this THREE COLOR RULE. I say, DO IT! It works!

For my part time job, I have to wear solids (I may have mentioned this before). It is sometimes hard coming up with different outfits that include solids that AREN'T boring! I've been doing the three color rule all along! I pair:

• green with navy with beige
• navy blue with brown with green
• red with black with white
• yellow with blue with white

(My Vera Bradley Citrine Marlo is just amazing so I love photographing it :D )

Hello All! I've totally been MIA for awhile! The last week of school, before spring break, really got the best of me! #thegrownupstruggle
I'm super happy to be home and relaxing this week. It's a nice break for me. I wish I was somewhere on a beach with my boyfriend drinking a tropical drink or hanging with Mickey Mouse, but a staycation is perfect :D
ANYWAYS, I have been doing some shopping and A LOT of window shopping. My boyfriend and I are buying a HOUSE. Yes, a house! I can't believe it! But not the point, ahah.. I've been trying to figure out what my "summer essentials" are. I need to have go to items that I can mix and match and wear differently and more than once! #notafraidtowearthesamethingtwice! I came up with some items that will work for me and I can stay easy and breezy all summer.
I finally came up with a list of EASY ESSENTIALS for summer! I can't stress how excited I am for summer vacation! Sweet summer time :D

Here are my TOP TEN EASY ESSENTIALS!
1. AE Ripped Jeans - love the easy and breezy look!

2. Flip-Flops- because who doesn't need these?!

3. Aviators- for those bright sunny days!
4. AE Soft & Sexy Tanks - these are amazing and so comfortable! They come in so many colors and patterns. They're great to dress up OR dress down for a more casual look.

5. Younique Loveable Lipgloss/ 3D Fiber Lashes- Get ready to fall in love <3 

6. Tank Dress - These are amazing. You can find them pretty much ANYWHERE. I have a bunch in solid colors to accessorize!

7. Tess Crossbody- The perfect weekend/shopping/grab and go bag! It is the perfect size, hands free and a built in wallet. So perfect.

8. Old Navy Denim Vest - I've vest obsessed. Period. 

9. City Classified Wedges - These are the most comfortable wedges and under $30!

10. Francesca's Off-The-Shoulder Top - These are so stylish and feminine. They're great for literally any occasion! I love them. I'm starting a small collection.

I have one more week left and then SPRING BREAK! I am pretty sure I am more excited to have a week off then my students are.. Is that a bad thing?! HAHA. With spring break just around the corner, I got sweet pool time on my mind! Love those days were I can relax by the pool and read a good book. I cannot wait until I can just read a book! Any book!
BUT anyways... I've been looking into bathing suits. Now, I'm not the tiny bikini wearing girl... This bod is not fitting into those tiny triangle bikini top or bottom. I've accepted it! I eat right and stay on track as much as possible. I was online shopping and walking in and out of stores and found some GREAT ONE PIECES! NO, I'm not talking "mom" one-piece. Cute and sexy one pieces that don't make you feel like an old biddy around the pool!
I am VERY PICKY when it comes to bathing suits. I cannot just put ANYTHING on and I look like a super model. Yeah, ain't happening' here my friends. It took me a lot of time to find styles I like and I came up with TEN great styles for that "picky patty" one piece gal!

Do you ever get those posts on Facebook or twitter about exercise videos or containers to make you eat right? Yeah, I get those too. This is kind of similar BUT totally different. I was approached via Facebook messenger about a company called YOUNIQUE. The name is super cute, so I looked more into it... (Yes, that sounds silly BUT we've all judged a book by it's cover ONCE in our lives)  ANYWAYS... The girl who messaged me was telling me all about this company and all of it's products. By clicking on the site I realized what it was...
She had only positive things to say and she seemed so excited to get me involved, so I decided to go for it! VENTURING OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE PEOPLE! I looked all over the website, and checked out different videos on different products and fell in love.

Their products are really great, and trust me, I am not blowing smoke. I am very picky about my make-up but I love their products! My mother loves the mascara and my cousin loves the foundation! I knew several people who already wore their make-up before I started selling it. Not only does that help me BUT it reassures me that this make-up is worth every penny! Family knows best :D

For work, I'm a physics teacher. I'd have to say I'm pretty good at math. Shocked? I didn't think so, haha. I have tried so many different ways to construct the PERFECT CAT-EYE liner! I've watched so many videos and tried different eyeliners and nothing seemed to work. I was totally that meme you see on Facebook or iFunny with the girl who just kept putting more on in hopes that would make it perfect. Ya, no.. Didn't work... 
I finally found a technique that REALLY WORKS and is SUPER easy!


First of all, this technique will work with ANY eyeliner type! I have the felt tip and liquid by Makeup Forever. I have the matte liquid liner and their high precision pen (click on their names to go straight to the site!)


NOW, I'm going to bring you back to high school and remind you of obtuse triangles. Yes, obtuse triangles. It's a triangle with an angle greater than 90 degrees. You're probably not sure what the heck I'm talking about or how this has anything to do with eyeliner BUT it all connects! I literally draw an obtuse triangle on my eye! Below is an obtuse triangle! Ringing any bells?!
